Kodama-to Rokusei Yusho Kotaro Yoriie established this temple at hitotsu-dani in 1184 (Jyuei 3rd) to console the spirits of senshi-bodai (the war dead). By representing its old-time days, its beautiful dai(big)-hondo with the shichido-garan moves visitors. There is the grave of Yoriie in this temple as well.
