This temple has a sangaku (votive tablet depicting a math puzzle) dedicated in 1726 (Kyoho 11th) by Toduka Morimasa who lived here. On such sangaku, he, after receiving the kuden from Gohonzon-Syokanzenon, explained how to solve a complicated mathematical problem (an equation to find the volume of an object) with using Japanese mathematics. This sangaku is the oldest in the prefecture and the fifth oldest in the nation, being designated as a cultural property by the city.
