This hall was established to console the spirit of victims of the major eruption of Mt. Asama-san in Shinsyu region that occurred in 1783 (Tenmei 3rd). This hall is a corridor-type building with two-layered appearance and three-layered structure, enshrining Hyakkannos from Saigoku, Bandou and Chichibu. This hall is commonly called as "Sazae-do" and designated as a city's cultural heritage.
