Established by Jyukei in 1213 (Kenpo 1st). Its gohondo, syoromon, jizodo and rokkaku-kannondo are arranged in its green trees. There is an award monument for Miyazaki Sengai who established Kodama Reijo. Visitors can appreciate a wide range of seasonal flowers including those of Winter Sweets (Roubai), Japanese apricots (Ume), Magnolia quinquepeta (Mokuren), Cherry (Sakura), Tree peony (Botan), Lotus (Hasu), Chinaberry (Sendan), Ladies' Tresses (Nejibana) and Fragrant Olive (Kinmokusei).
