Shinpen-Musashi-Fudo-Kiko says that in this temple there was a goma-dan with the inscription of "1538 (Tenbun 7th)", which doesn't currently exist. This temple used to be a prayer hall for Yagyu-ke (Yagyu family) for a certain period of Edo Period.
