Moroi-ke Residence is estimated to have been built in 1880 (Meiji 13th). This residence was built by Moroi Senei on the model of a Western‐style house in Yokohama and initially used both as Honjo Post office and the residence. Moroi-ke Residence is a prefeturally designated cultural property.
