Here is one of the renowned cherry blossom viewing spots in Honjo-shi where around 1,100 cherry blossom trees beautifully bloom over 5 kilometers along the both sides of Koyama River flowing through Kodama-cho. Very crowded with Cherry-blossom viewers in its best season. As well, in the beginning of April, "Kodama Senbon-Zakura Festival" is held where a variety of events are provided such as local performing arts and refreshment booths.
