Shingonshu-Tizanha-Kanreizan-Zizaiin-Jion-ji. It is said that Jion-ji had been originally located at Kurisaki Village and was relocated to Tenjinbayashi (the southeast part of Honjo Castle) at the time of the building of Honjo Castle in 1556 (Koji 2nd). Later, it was moved to the current place in 1667 (Kanbun 7th). This temple is one of the destinations of Bushu Honjo Shichifukujin Meguri and enshrines Zeniarai-benzaiten.
