Ontake-san Haru-Maturi(Spring Festival) “Hi-watari (Fire-Walking)”

This shrine is based on ontake-shinko (belief), which shrine has a long history and is visited by people within and outside Honjo-shi. Hi-watari is performed in hope of gaining perfect health and avoiding fire calamity.
