This festival is an annual new year's event held at Ryugan Temple which has an already established nickname of "Botan Temple". This nickname comes from the fact that 150 kinds, 1,500 stubs of botan bust out in the spring season at this temple. Goma is burnt at the hondo and shofuku (inviting happiness)-dharmas are sold within the premise of the temple.
