As a mountain festival and also as a festival for Mt. Sekizon-san as well as for Sekizon-sama, this festival has been busy from old times with worshippers within and outside the city. From 6:00 pm on the festival day, as a rare ritual, ""Omiki-age-shinji"" where the god of water is appreciated with the dedication of omiki (sacred sake) is performed.
